What is the difference between tty & ttyS

/dev/tty ar the loginshells on your computer (/dev/tty1-6 representing alt+F1-6)
/dev/ttyS0-n on the other hand are the seriel ports on you computer (Typically known as com 1-4 on a windows machine)
